My daughter went crazy whenever my mother said something else or spoke at a different moment. The daughter could be creative, but the mother could not. It wasn't a game for the mother it was just a puppet, not a teammate. No wonder she hated it. So here we have one of the problems that occur in parent-child play. We were brainwashed for the belief that our mission is to serve the needs of our children at virtually any moment. Sometimes by telling them exactly what they should do, sometimes by feeding all their whims.
